We are thrilled to report that this month's event, sponsored by BP, was a huge success with a great turnout from members and guests. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about BP's operations in the Azeri-Chirag-Deepwater Gunashli and Shah Deniz fields from Mr Colin Allan, BP VP Finance for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye, as well as about current and future projects and green energy prospects from Cathal Kelly, BP VP Projects Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye, Egypt and Oman.
In addition, we were honoured to have Joel Derbyshire, Country Director Azerbaijan and Energy Lead for Eastern Europe & Central Asia at the British Embassy, speak about matters related to the UK and Azerbaijan.
Overall, the event was informative and engaging, and we are grateful to BP and our speakers for their contribution.
